DESCRIPTION:A Hero For Kids Back2School Celebration will happen at the Colonial Plaza Mall Staples of August 8th from 10am to 1pm.  We will be at Colonial Plaza Mall in front of Staples. The event runs 10am to 1pm...with set up starting at 9am. We have over 250 families registered and a waiting list. There will be lots of children present as they're required to be there to get the backpacks and school supplies. Chamber members who would like to setup a tent and give out info on their business and/or offerings are welcome to attend. Chamber members who would also just like to attend are of course welcome.\n \nATTENDEES MUST REGISTER\, BE APPROVED AND RECEIVE AN ATTENDEE NUMBER TO RECEIVE BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES!\n\n\n\nThis year's event will feature FREE backpacks\, school supplies and giveaways from local organizations and businesses. Last year we distributed over 1000 backpacks and school supplies for over 100 teachers during our drive thru event and popup events!\n\n\n\nWe are collecting school supplies and backpacks...and have sponsorships and spots at the event open for your business to support and attend.
